Hello everyone!
I’m continuing to develop my app NextPriority, an app that helps decision makers compare options visually more easily, and document their decisions for future analysis. This time, I’m starting to think of how the app will work in collaboration with AI tools, meaning, an LLM of your choice.
I’m building it with Base44, a great tool for beginners who want to experiment with vibe coding.

New Functionality
This time, I added a new feature that’s available from the history page, and that allows you to export a JSON file of selected past matrices so you can upload them to an LLM of your choice.
The idea is to let the AI help you analyze past decisions and see trends over time.
Export past matrices as JSON
This is a great feature to use once you’ve accumulated enough documented past decisions, and you want to pause and start analyzing past trends in order to become a better decision maker. Think of it as doing a rerospective meeting with an AI to reflect on past decisions.

How to use this feature
Once you reach the “History” page, click “Export JSON” and select the past matrices you’d like to export as a JSON file.
A typical JSON output for a given matrix would look like this, and will contain all the necessary information and context for the LLM, based on the fields users have to fill within the app.
This functionality opens up a whole new world of decision analysis done in collaboration with AI models that could help companies do things that were difficult and even impossible before.
In previous posts, especially the one about the book “Link” by Lorien Pratt, I mentioned that decision analysis is the missing link in organizations that don’t know how to best utilize their analytics. Thinking of decision intelligence products through the lens of AI-augmentation could lead to ineresting outcomes.
I’ll dedicate a post in the future for decision analysis with AI based on the experimentations I’m going through now, and I invite you to try out this feature as well.
My Roadmap So Far
Here’s what I’ve done with NextPriority so far.
Phase 1 - Core components
In phase 1, I wanted to make sure I have the core component for the success of the application:
An elegant 2X2 matrix that could be easily customized
An option to save a matrix to history so it can be revisited afterward
Dark and light modes
Edit the position of each item after adding it to the matrix
Zoom in and out on the matrix for a better view with multiple items
Export as an image
Leave feedback (I want to improve this application , after all)
Phase 2 - Decision documentation components + landing page
In phase 2, I took it a step further and added elements from decision analysis and elements that can improve the overall UX:
Text fields to document context, decsion, and the next steps
A landing page that explains the unique selling proposition (USP)
User guide
Microcopy to guide users
During my work on phase 2, I also created my first demo, and you can see it here on Signal to Product.
Phase 3 - Template-driven usage
To reduce friction I created the following features:
Quick start option with templates for 2X2 matrices
Duplicate matrix

Phase 4 - Export matrices to JSON to be analyzed by an LLM
We’re living in the age of AI, after all, so this was the time to think of how I can add AI to the mix. I chose to enable the export of selected matrices to a JSON file to be uploaded for further analysis with LLM. This is recommended once you’re accumulated enough documented decisions, and you want to pause and think about your decision-making more hollistically.
